Readers & Authors Looking for Books/Reviews

I know how hard it can be to look for new authors to review or for authors looking for a place to put their book up to be reviewed. So, here are some websites I've found that can be useful to do that:

Book-Swag.com is a free weekly email that helps you find the best ebooks from established, new and indie authors. We search the internet and trawl through amazon reviews each week to find you must-read books at great prices. The authors featured on Book Swag haven’t paid to be here. Their books are chosen for one reason – they’re exciting books that you’ll want to read.

Bookbub - you can either use the bookbub.com website and browse lots of new deals from anywhere to free to a pound or two or read their blog. They tend to be kindle/kobo books only though. Their blog can be useful to see whats upcoming.

Bookbloggerlist.com - this is somewhere where you can advertise your blog for authors to find individuals to review their books. So this serve both parties! Authors can find you and you can advertise your services. I have advertised my blog on there too.

Some websites I go to, to find out what's new and upcoming in the book world: waterstones.com/blog; bookriot.com; idreambooks.com and goodreads.com.

Hopefully this is useful!

  1. Hello Hannah

When you are reading and reviewing books again, would you be interested in reviewing my book, Devil Out Of Texas ?

    https://www.amazon.com/Devil-Out-Texas-Roger-Raffee-ebook/dp/B01L6O9X8I/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1472555961&sr=1-1&keywords=devil+out+of+texas

I just posted it for sale as an ebook in Amazon. Please let me know what I need to do or send you in order to have it reviewed. It's 449 pages.

Here is the brief synopsis I posted with the book:

In the summer of 1973, a fourteen year old kid spends time with his grandfather and his friends, George Burns, Jack Benny, Georgie Jessel, and others, as they play cards at the Hillcrest Country Club near Beverly Hills, California. He later sits down to listen as his grandfather tells him the action-packed tale of his great-grandfather, the first Jewish Texas Ranger, and how his grandfather came to Hollywood to become one of the pioneers of the movie industry.
The young man learns about how his grandfather came to be friends with the early stars of the silver screen, like Tom Mix, William S. Hart, Lionel Barrymore, and Doug Fairbanks, and his grandfather's association with the great Mexican revolutionary leader Pancho Villa, the famous lawman Wyatt Earp, and other fascinating characters.

    Thank you,

    -Roger Raffee

    1. Hi Roger,

Sorry for the delayed response, I've just been busy with work and other things. I would very much appreciate it if you can email me at: hannahrebecca5@msn.com with a digital copy of your book. I can accept the following formats: ePUB, MOBI and PDF. I can add your book to my list of books to get through but I do have around 3 books to read before getting to yours if thats ok? So it may be towards the end of October/November before I get a review to you.

      Many thanks,
      Hannah
